Clark Lee | Co-Founder

Clark Lee is an award-winning public affairs strategist, attorney, and executive with more than two decades of results-proven experience helping organizations and leaders drive high-impact initiatives, communicate compelling stories, and navigate complex environments across public, nonprofit, political, and private sectors at local, state, and federal levels. Clark advises clients on public affairs, government relations, strategic communications, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
As Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights in the Biden-Harris Administration, Clark advised and led strategic policy initiatives on civil rights, privacy, and cybersecurity. He spearheaded public affairs, strategic and crisis communications, and intergovernmental affairs, including the development and rollout of 25 HHS agency-specific language access plans in advancing equity and access in healthcare.
Clark has built and scaled teams; directed major programs; led strategic and crisis communications; developed cross-sector partnerships; and advised senior executives, elected leaders, organizations, ballot measures, and campaigns. As California Democratic Party Political Director, he directed major portfolios, operations, and coalition partnerships that helped flip seven congressional seats, contributing to the change in U.S. House control, and strengthen the state legislative supermajorities.
Clark is Founding Partner of Campaign Comply, an AI-assisted regulatory compliance SaaS platform. Previously, he was the inaugural general counsel of a national voter engagement nonprofit; a director of two presidential nominating conventions; and state director for a national climate action organization.
Clark has been recognized for his professional work and civic engagement, including a California State Assembly Joint Member Resolution; the Southwestern Law School Judge Harry Pregerson Public Service Alumni Award; the Claremont McKenna College Philip Roland Prize for Excellence in Public Affairs; the American Association of Political Consultants inaugural 40 Under 40 Award and more than a dozen Pollie Awards; the Campaigns & Elections Reed Awards and Rising Star; the National Association of Asian Pacifics in Politics and Public Affairs inaugural 40 Under 40 recognition; the California Democratic Party John F. Kennedy Jr. Award for Outstanding Public Service; and the Los Angeles County Democratic Party Elvira Roberti Award for Lifetime Achievement.
A first generation American, Clark began his civic involvement registering new citizens to vote at naturalization ceremonies as a student. He has since held leadership roles across public, nonprofit, and political entities. He has appeared in media, classrooms, and conferences discussing law, policy, political affairs, and civic engagement.
